About Us
- Visalia Country Kennel has been a family run business for well over thirty years. Our father, Donald Pauley built the existing kennel and began the operation of a dream. He not only housed dogs, cats, and other animals, he was also the Past President of the Sequoia Kennel Club here in Visalia for many years. He bred Vizsla’s (Hungarian Hunting dogs) and was active on the dog show circuit for over 20 years. He passed this business down to his family, who operates the kennel today. Our philosophy is that you are entrusting us to care for a member of your family. We take special care and pride to providing an excellent kennel for your special animal.
Services and Requirements
- Special Requirements
We require all current vaccinations and the Bordetella vaccines prior to animals being boarded in our facility. This ensures quality conditions for all animals.
- Facility Description
We have an air-cooled and heated facility. There are inside and outside kennels and runs, depending upon your request. There are three exercise areas where the animals exercise and play throughout the day. Your specific instructions are followed such as “my dog plays well with others.” “Rusty is on a special diet and needs to have his special food, only.” We cater to each owner and follow his or her specific instructions upon entering the kennel. Our Manager is on site, should there be an issue and it is handled immediately.
